Sarah Wotton

Senior Associate

Sarah is an experienced environmental and planning lawyer.  She can provide advice on all aspects of environmental and planning law, with a particular focus on water and related issues.  Examples of the types of issues on which Sarah advises are planning and environmental consents, environmental impact assessment, contaminated land and flood defence.  Several of Sarah's clients are  statutory undertakers and she has experience of the regulatory regimes relevant to them. 
 
Major infrastructure projects form a large part of Sarah's workload, either promoting such projects or protecting affected interests, and she is familiar with the new planning regime for nationally significant infrastructure projects. 
 
Sarah is part of the editorial team for the Butterworths Planning Law Service, and a member of the United Kingdom Environmental Law Association.
